Works by Brahms and Piazzolla

Take a trip with the Victoria Piano Trio as we explore music of the great outdoors! “Summer” from Piazzolla’s Four Seasons sets the scene, followed by the finale of Dvorak’s “Dumky” Trio, which the composer performed just before he embarked on his journey to America. We soak up the humidity in Gershwin’s Summertime, explore the Wild West by locomotive in the Capriccio by Lucas Foss, and tell ghost stories around the campfire to excerpts of Beethoven’s “Ghost” Trio. Finally, as our journey ends, we return to the city to take in a show with the finale from Paul Schoenfield’s Café Music.
